Moe Heritage Tours: An Introduction

Moe Heritage Tours was a family driving trip to see significant LDS Church history and American History Sites. The first two days we would drive in our van straight to Chicago area (with only two site stops) to pick up a motorhome that we would use to make a circle between Illionois out to the East Coast and back with Church History stops at Winter Quarters, Nauvoo, Carthage, Palmyra, Hirum, Kirtland and various temples; and with American History stops at Lincoln's Home, Gettysburg, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, and Concord/Lextiongton with stops at Hershey World and Niagara Falls. Our three oldest children had a chance to see these sites on other trips (Katrina and Kelsey went with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Bev when they were young and Eric went on "Heritage Tours" with a HS group). We missed our oldest kids. It was very strange not to have them on a major family trip with us but it was a good opportunity to focus on our younger kids and to build the bonds between them.  Following are blogs of each day:
