We couldn't really fly all the way to Hawaii and not be tourists. After we spent the weekend getting Kylie all set up with a bank account, a little fridge, snacks, a ward family and started on job hunting, we flew over to the Big Island which we had never visited before.

We found the Kona Hawaii temple right at the end of the week
....it turned out we had driven by it about 10 times!

One of the highlights of the trip was renting Kayaks and paddling with the dophins out to some great snorkeling by the Cook Monument! Well worth the money! Beautiful snorkeling just below the monument and the dolphins were cool!

Kelsey and I shared a Kayak. Good thing. I wouldn't have been able to do it without her!

It was so fun to see the have the dolphins swim around us!

Three Sea Turtles sunning on the black sand beach! So cool!

Visiting a refuge....just outside the royal palace where those wanted by the law
could take refuge and would not be harmed.

Standing on the southernmost point in the United States of America.

Checking out the tide pools with the ocean crashing behind (it actually got them!)

It was a great trip!
