Traditionally, we go to Bear Lake with some of our family and friends over Labor Day Weekend but it didn't work out this year so we decided to try a camping trip in our backyard. As it turned out, it rained Labor Day Weekend so we easily postponed our party until the next weekend (didn't have to lose reservations or anything!). I have long wanted to try this....the perfect camping trip in my mind: Socializing and playing games, roasting marshmellows, bar-b-que, kids in tents, parents in their own bedroom with indoor plumbing nearby! Heaven! We even got to swim in "Lake Gearheart"

Craig, Kim and kids brought their new motor home to our camping trip. That's the next best kind of camping, after camping in the backyard. Most of the kids slept in tents, our tent trailer or the motor home.
